In certain cases, we'll need transactions or reports we can't import automatically from your bank or financial institution.
In this article, we'll explain how to find the relevant reports we need from your Bank of America accounts and upload them into Finaloop.
How to export a CSV file of your transactions from your Bank of America account
This guide will walk you through downloading a CSV file containing your transaction history for your Bank of America account.
What you'll need
Your Bank of America account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Bank of America account using your username and password.
Click on See All Transactions.
Scroll down to Activity, and you'll see Download on the right of your screen. Click on this.
On the popup you'll see two dropdowns:
Click on Download Transactions to save the CSV onto your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your CSV file.
How to export a bank statement from your Bank of America account
As part of our onboarding and year end reviews, we may ask for bank statements to confirm your bank balances and ensure your books are 100% accurate.
What you'll need
Your Bank of America account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Bank of America account using your username and password.
Click on click on Last Statement. On the popup click on View more statements & documents.
At the top of the page select the account relevant to your mission in the dropdown. Then click on the year and select the relevant to your mission.
Click on statements, and select the relevant statement for your mission. Click on Download PDF to save the statement to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your bank statement pdf.
