Overview
In certain cases, we'll need transactions or reports we can't import automatically from your bank or financial institution.
In this article, we'll explain how to find the relevant reports we need from your CapitalOne accounts and upload them into Finaloop.
How to export a CSV file of your transactions from your CapitalOne account
This guide will walk you through downloading a CSV file containing your transaction history for your CapitalOne account.
What you'll need
Your CapitalOne account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your CapitalOne account using your username and password.
You should see now see all of your accounts.
Look for the account relevant to your mission, and click view account.
You'll now be on the home screen for that account. Scroll down until you see the section called "Statement Ending _________" and click on Download Transactions.
On the popup you'll see two dropdowns.
File Type: click on CSV
Time Period: select Custom Date Range and enter the date range in your mission.
Click Export to save the CSV to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your CSV file.
How to export a bank statement from your CapitalOne account
As part of our onboarding and year end reviews, we may ask for bank statements to confirm your bank balances and ensure your books are 100% accurate.
What you'll need
Your CapitalOne account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your CapitalOne account using your username and password.
You should see now see all of your accounts.
Look for the account relevant to your mission, and click view account.
You'll now be on the home screen for that account. Click on View Statements.
On the popup with your statements you will be able to sort by date. Click on the date, and select the statement for the month listed in your mission.
Click on Download to save the statement to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your bank statement pdf.
