In certain cases, we'll need transactions or reports we can't import automatically from your bank or financial institution.
In this article, we'll explain how to find the relevant reports we need from your Citibank accounts and upload them into Finaloop.
How to export a CSV file of your transactions from your Citibank accountโ
This guide will walk you through downloading a CSV file containing your transaction history for your Citibank account.
What you'll need
Your Citibank account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Citibank account using your username and password.
Click on Accounts and choose the relevant account relevant to your mission.
Scroll down to Your Activity, you'll see a dropdown for Filter By.
Confirm Transaction Type is set to All.
Under Custom Date Range, enter the date range listed in the mission.
Click Search.
Click on the Download icon in the top right corner.
In the pop up, under Text Formats select CSV.
Click Export. This will save your CSV file to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your CSV file.
How to export a bank statement from your Citibank account
As part of our onboarding and year end reviews, we may ask for bank statements to confirm your bank balances and ensure your books are 100% accurate.
What you'll need
Your Citibank account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Citi account using your username and password.
Click on Accounts and choose the relevant account relevant to your mission.
Click on View Statements, in the middle of the screen.
On the popup with your most recent statement, click on View All Statements.
Scroll down until you see the Select a Year dropdown and select the year listed in the mission.
Select the relevant statement from the selected year and click Download to save the statement to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your bank statement pdf.
