Overview
In certain cases, we'll need transactions or reports we can't import automatically from your bank or financial institution.
In this article, we'll explain how to find the relevant reports we need from your Discover accounts and upload them into Finaloop.
How to export a CSV file of your transactions from your Discover account
What you'll need
Your Discover account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Discover account using your username and password.
Click on Activity.
Select Search Transactions from the dropdown menu.
Look for Date and enter in the date range listed in your mission.
Click on Search.
A screen with your transactions will appear. Click on Download in the top right corner.
A popup will appear with the option to select an Excel file or CSV. Select CSV and click Download. Your CSV file will be downloaded and saved onto your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your CSV file.
How to export a bank statement from your Discover account
As part of our onboarding and year end reviews, we may ask for bank statements to confirm your bank balances and ensure your books are 100% accurate.
What you'll need
Your Discover account login credentials (Username & Password)
Steps
Log in to your Discover account using your username and password.
Click on All Activity & Statements.
Click on the dropdown in the middle of the screen, and select View Previous Statements.
Select the relevant year of statements. On the right side of your screen, locate the relevant statement dates listed in the mission and click on PDF. Your statement file will now be downloaded and saved to your device.
Head over to your mission in Finaloop, and upload your bank statement pdf.
