July 2026 Release Notes

Written by Emily Burrows

This month's updates are all about profitability you can act on: see which channels and products are actually making you money, while there's still time to do something about it.

📊 New: Channel Performance

Most brands find out which channel made money only after the month closes and the fees and returns settle. Channel Performance changes that.

What's new

You can now see near real-time profitability for every sales channel — Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop — directly from your Dashboard, under Profits. Using your live sales data together with smart cost estimates for marketplace fees, shipping, and refunds, each channel gets a full profitability breakdown before the books close.

What you get

  • A full P&L view per channel — down to contribution profit, including discounts & promotions, refunds & returns, product COGS, shipping & fulfillment, selling and processing fees, and ad spend

  • Channel-specific detail — each channel shows the costs that actually apply to it (for example, affiliate commissions and product giveaways for TikTok Shop, selling fees for Amazon)

  • Flexible views — toggle between Platform and Store level, view amounts in $ or %, and customize your smart cost estimates

  • Ad spend where it belongs — advertising costs are attributed to the channel they support, so contribution profit reflects reality

Why this matters

When one channel quietly slips underwater mid-month, you'll know mid-month, not three weeks after the budget's already spent.

🎯 Amazon Ads Joins the Ads Page

Following Meta Ads and Google Ads, Amazon Ads is now part of Finaloop, bringing your advertising performance and your actual financials into one place.

What's new

  • Connect Amazon Ads to see campaigns, ROAS, conversions, and spend alongside your Meta and Google accounts

  • SKU-level analysis for Amazon Ads: see which products are actually generating profitable growth, not just clicks and impressions

  • Ad spend, credits, and payments are recorded in your books in real time with accrual tracking and automatic reconciliation, consistent with our other ads integrations

Why this matters

Ad platforms tell you what a campaign did. Your books tell you whether it was worth it. With all three major ad platforms syncing directly to your P&L, you can scale what's profitable and catch what isn't.

📦 Inbound Shipments Sync Automatically (InventoryIQ)

What's new

InventoryIQ now automatically syncs inbound shipments, receipts, and warehouse transfers from Amazon and supported WMS and 3PL integrations. Instead of manually recreating supply chain activity, your Shipments, Receipts, and Transfers stay synchronized on their own.

Why this matters

Less data entry, more inventory accuracy, and books that reflect what's actually moving through your supply chain.

💳 Vendor Credits, Directly from Bills

What's new

You can now create and apply vendor credits directly from the Bills page, no manual workarounds required. The correct accounting treatment is handled automatically, including full support for credits from inventory vendors, whether you returned the inventory or kept it in your warehouse.

Why this matters

Vendor credits are common; recording them properly shouldn't require a support ticket.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 New vs. Returning Customers, Now for Amazon FBA

What's new

Your dashboard's new vs. returning customer analysis now covers Amazon FBA sales too. Amazon hides buyer identities, which has always made repeat-purchase analysis a blind spot for FBA. Using anonymized buyer IDs, Finaloop now shows new vs. returning breakdowns for FBA so you can finally see repeat behavior across every channel, not just DTC.

Why this matters

Repeat rate is a margin story. Now it's a complete one.

✨ A Refreshed Look

The first phase of our updated design system is rolling out, starting with new navigation and a cleaner, more modern interface.

More visual improvements are on the way.
