May 2026 Release Notes

Written by Emily Burrows

Running a commerce business today means managing more channels, marketplaces, products, and transactions than ever before.

This month, we've expanded Finaloop's capabilities across global commerce, reporting, operations, and financial workflows to give you even more visibility and control as you scale.

1. 🌍 Amazon Gets a Major Upgrade

Amazon Global Is Here

What's new

Finaloop now supports Amazon Europe (including Middle East & Africa) and Amazon Far East as part of the Amazon 2.0 upgrade.

For brands selling across multiple Amazon regions, your Seller Central accounts can now connect directly to Finaloop, bringing all Amazon operations into a single financial system.

What you get

  • Real-time sales synchronization

  • Automated bookkeeping

  • Country-level reporting

  • Marketplace Orders support

  • Dashboard visibility

  • Deferred transaction support

  • Automated reconciliation

No manual imports. No spreadsheet workarounds. No separate processes for different Amazon regions.

Migration notes

If you're currently recording Amazon Europe or Far East sales manually:

  • Finaloop will automatically reverse manual sales entries created from Amazon payouts during 2026 and replace them with detailed transaction-level data from the new integration.

  • Historical payouts initiated in 2025 and deposited during 2026 will remain unchanged.

  • If you manually created COGS entries for Amazon Europe or Far East during 2026, those entries should be removed after migration, as Finaloop will now calculate COGS automatically.

Our team will reach out with migration instructions if your account has not yet been connected.

Amazon Now Included in SKU Profitability

What's new

Amazon data is now included in the SKU Profitability Dashboard. You can now analyze profitability across Amazon alongside your other sales channels, giving you a more complete view of product performance.

What you get

  • Product-level profitability

  • Highest-volume SKUs

  • Cross-channel performance

  • Product trends and opportunities

New: Amazon Reconciliation

What's new

We've launched a dedicated Amazon Reconciliation experience to help you understand exactly how Amazon sales flow into your books.

The new report provides full visibility into differences between Finaloop and Amazon reporting.

What you can reconcile

  • Amazon Sales Dashboard

  • Amazon Payment Report

What you can do

  • Compare Amazon-reported sales against Finaloop sales

  • Understand timing and accounting adjustments

  • Drill into the exact orders behind each adjustment

  • View reconciliation details based on your accounting method

  • See where source numbers originate inside Amazon

Why this matters

Amazon reporting and accounting data often differ because of timing differences, deferred transactions, fulfillment events, and timezone differences.

The new reconciliation experience makes those differences transparent so you can understand exactly how Amazon activity is reflected in your books.
