March 2026 Release Notes

Written by Emily Burrows

As your business grows, so does the complexity - more SKUs, vendors, channels, and data.

This month’s updates focus on helping you manage that complexity with faster workflows, better automation, and improved visibility across inventory, bills, ads, and transactions.

📦 Inventory

Bulk PO Upload via CSV (InventoryIQ)

You can now upload one or multiple purchase orders (POs) at once using a CSV file.

What you can include

  • Products (existing or new SKUs)

  • Vendors

  • Placement and production start dates

  • Direct costs

  • Indirect costs

How it works

  • If a SKU doesn’t exist, it will be created automatically

  • If no vendor is specified, Finaloop will assign the most relevant vendor based on past activity

  • Indirect costs are automatically allocated proportionally based on direct costs. You can adjust this on the PO page.

  • Duplicate POs are flagged based on PO name to prevent double uploads.

  • The system validates uploads and flags issues (e.g., missing data, locked periods).

Additional capabilities

  • Review mode: Review only flagged POs that require attention

  • Historical uploads: View and delete uploads from the last 90 days

Product Cost Management (InventoryIQ)

You can now manage product costs by vendor and over time directly from the SKU page.

What’s included

  • Set cost changes by date (e.g., $4.50 → $5.50)

  • Track multiple vendors per SKU

  • Mark vendors as inactive at the SKU level

  • Add vendor-specific SKU codes

Improvements to PO creation

  • Costs are auto-populated based on vendor and PO date

  • Filter products by vendor when creating POs

  • View historical POs per vendor from the SKU page

Why this matters

  • Eliminates repetitive cost entry

  • Improves visibility into vendor pricing

  • Reduces ordering errors

To manage vendor costs per SKU: Go to Inventory>Products>click into a specific product>Click Product details> Manage vendor costs.

Shopify Inventory Sync Flexibility (Sales-Based)

You can now control exactly what data is synced from Shopify.

New options

  • Sync quantities

  • Sync cost per unit

These can now be managed independently under:
Inventory → Settings → General → Report per SKU

If cost sync is turned off, Shopify cost data will no longer override your Finaloop data.

Product-Level Enhancements

We added several improvements to product management:

  • Add notes and attachments to products

  • Create and filter by product tags

  • View platform pricing (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop)

  • Set custom prices per customer based on dates or set a default SKU price for invoices, so the right price is automatically applied when creating an invoice

🧾 Wholesale & Retail

Crstl Integration

We now fully support Crstl, an EDI platform used by brands selling to major retailers like Target, Nordstrom, and Macy’s.

  • Automatic hourly sync of invoices

  • Full invoice details:

    • Line items

    • Customer data

    • Shipping and billing addresses

    • PO numbers

    • Due dates

  • Automatically calculate COGS

  • Historical import for open years

Additional functionality

  • Edit invoices

  • Link payments

  • Close balances with adjustments

  • Automatically create inventory products under the Crstl source

🧾 Bills

New Bills Page

  • Updated UI
