1. About
Finaloop now integrates directly with 150+ WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and 3PLs (third-party logistics providers). With just a few clicks, you can connect your warehouse data and let Finaloop handle the rest.
This connection will allow you to:
Automatically import inbound Shipments
Track Amazon FBA inventory adjustments
Sync physical inventory counts
The goal is simple: give you a seamless, automated sync of your inventory data into Finaloop, ensuring your numbers are always accurate, up to date, and never dependent on manual counts or spreadsheets.
Note: Currently available for InventoryIQ users only.
2. Setting up your WMS/3PL in Finaloop
Step 1: Connect your WMS or 3PL
Go to Settings in Finaloop.
Click on the Integrations tab at the top of the page.
Scroll down to the section called “WMS/3PL” and click on the box.
Click Connect and follow the prompts to select all relevant WMS or 3PLs. For example, if you use both ShipHero and Amazon FBA, please connect them both.
Now your warehouse data will begin syncing automatically.
If you want to pause the syncing from your connected WMS or 3PL, head over to Inventory> Settings>General and scroll down to where you see Connected WMS / 3PL. There you can toggle the syncing off/on as needed.
Step 2: Review warehouses
After you connect, head over to your Warehouses page to review your updated list of warehouses.
Go to Inventory.
Click on the Settings tab at the top of your Inventory screen.
Click on the Warehouses tab.
Now review your warehouse list. If the same location appears more than once, please merge them to keep your inventory tracking clean.
Step 3: Review product list
Next, review your product list to make sure any duplicates are merged. This is an extremely important step to keeping your inventory fully updated.
While still in Inventory, click on the Products tab on the top of the screen.
If you see an alert that you have product merge recommendations, click on it to review potential merge matches. If not, just take a quick review over your product list to ensure there are no duplicates.
To learn how to merge products, check out Merging multiple products.
3. Data synced from your WMS/ 3PL
a. Automatically import Shipments, Receipts, and Transfers
Finaloop can automatically sync inbound shipment data from Amazon and supported WMS and 3PL integrations.
Automatic inbound shipments can be enabled for each supported integration under: Inventory → Supply Chain → Preferences.
When enabling automatic inbound shipments, select the date you want syncing to begin. The data synced depends on when you started using InventoryIQ:
If your auto-sync start date is later than your InventoryIQ start date, syncing is based on the Shipment date. Only shipments sent after the sync start date will be synced.
If you're starting InventoryIQ and the auto-sync on the same date, we'll also sync Shipments sent before your start date if they're received on or after that date. This ensures inventory received after you start using InventoryIQ is accurately captured.
Transfers between warehouses are also created automatically when InventoryIQ recognizes that inventory is moving between two of your warehouses.
b. Amazon FBA Connection
We connect directly with Amazon FBA, pulling real-time adjustments directly from your Amazon Inventory ledger and syncing them automatically into your books.
This includes:
FBA Dead inventory
FBA Lost/Found adjustments
FBA Product donations
FBA Vendor returns
Other FBA miscellaneous adjustments
Your Amazon Inventory Ledger report provides end-to-end reconciliation of your actual received inventory, customer orders, customer returns, adjustments, and removals, making it the most reliable source of truth for tracking your real FBA stock.
You can see FBA vendor returns, other FBA adjustments, inventory lost, dead inventory, and Product donations reflected directly in your COGS tab.
With these syncs in place, Finaloop now automates nearly the entire FBA cycle, replacing manual physical count adjustments with highly accurate, real-time data.
Note: In the rare case your Amazon FBA isn’t fully updated, you can still click into the specific adjustment type and drill down into the product to make changes manually. This way, you maintain full control over your inventory numbers while reducing the amount of manual work needed.
c. Physical Warehouse Counts
Finaloop automatically pulls physical counts from all your warehouses (not just FBA). This unlocks two huge benefits:
Ongoing accuracy — always know your true on-hand units without manual counts
Easy onboarding & year-end prep — quickly set opening balances and verify inventory without extra work
How it works:
When you sync a physical count from your WMS or 3PL, we automatically create an adjustment to keep your inventory counts in Finaloop 100% reconciled with your WMS or 3PL counts for each warehouse.
You can sync a physical inventory count at any time and as often as you want
You’ll only be able to sync counts from the date you integrated your WMS/3PL onward
Adjustments are dynamic, meaning if other data changes in Finaloop that affects your Finaloop inventory numbers, the adjustment will update automatically, ensuring your Finaloop physical counts always match your WMS/3PL physical counts on the relevant day.
Want to create a physical count adjustment that isn’t synced from your WMS or 3PL? Check out Updating inventory based on physical counts.
