🛒 Major Upgrade to Orders Management

COGS Only: Record COGS without sales for $0 net-value orders like replacements and warranty fulfillments. See how it works ›.
Product Giveaways: Records product costs as marketing expenses for influencer collaborations, giveaways, product samples, and promotional orders. See how it works ›.
Export Unpaid Orders: Easily download your AR Aging report for Shopify orders as of any historical date.
🚀Coming soon: Void specific items in an order, Mark an order as fulfilled, and more!
🔍 Better Visibility Into Transaction Categories
We've made significant updates to transaction categorization, making it more accurate and user-friendly:
Category Mapping Preview: See how each category shows up in your P&L or Balance Sheet before you apply it, giving you clear visibility.
Side-by-Side Comparison: Easily compare current vs. proposed categorizations.
Smarter Organization: We’ve cleaned up category sorting and tags, making it easier to find what you need—no more digging through duplicates or unused options.
Enhanced Split Rules: Now supports recurring splits by percentage with automation rules.
📊 P&L Structure Update
You asked, we delivered.
To better align with ecommerce best practices, we’ve restructured how some expenses appear on your P&L:
Advertising & Marketing is now Sales & Marketing.
This new category includes all accounts previously under Advertising & Marketing (fixed and variable), plus:
Business Development
Sales Commissions
Sales Contractors
These were previously under General & Administrative.
Note: This is a reporting structure change only—no impact to your Gross Profit, Operating Expenses, or Net Income.
📦 Set It and Forget It: Smarter Inventory Expense Rules
Introducing Default Purchase Type Rules:
Auto-Categorization: Set rules for whether inventory purchases are treated as inventory (default) or incidentals.
Save Time: Great for recurring expenses like packaging or prep center fees.
What are incidentals?
They’re inventory-related expenses (bills and payments) that go directly to your Product COGS on your P&L, rather than increasing your inventory balance (for sales-based customers) or reducing vendor rolling PO balance (InventoryIQ customers). Learn more ›
